We Can Be Heroes: Priyanka Chopra to Feature in Netflix Superhero Movie

Priyanka is expected to play the role of Ms. Gradenko in the film. A few months ago, the actress had also revealed that she will be seen in Ma Sheela Anand biopic, and now, here's one more project Priyanka has been roped in for.

Deadline reports that Priyanka Chopra Jonas has joined "Alita: Battle Angel" director Robert Rodriguez's Netflix superhero flick "We Can Be Heroes". Revolving around a group of kids who step up to save the world when aliens abduct all of Earth's superheroes, the movie also stars, Christian Slater, Boyd Holbrook, YaYa Gosselin, Akira Akbar, Sung Kang and Pedro Pascal in pivotal roles.

On the film side, she will also produce and star in an untitled wedding comedy set in India, co-produced by Mindy Kaling and Dan Goor for Universal.

On the work front, the actress was last seen in the film Isn't It Romantic.


According to Deadline, the motion picture is now in production in Texas, and will also feature Christian Slater, YaYa Gosselin, Akira Akbar and Pedro Pascal.

Currently, Priyanka is accompanying Nick Jonas during the Jonas Brothers' Happiness Begins US Tour.

Priyanka got married to Nick Jonas past year and have been away from India for quite some time. The film recently premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Directed by Shonali Bose features Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf alongside PeeCee. As you'll see, her story will come full circle.and that is the best feeling as an actor.
