A cold front over the northern United States will arrive in Indiana Tuesday afternoon/evening. There is a very small chance for an isolated storm tomorrow evening, but most areas across the Valley stay dry. Left behind will be just a few spots of rain and possibly a stray storm. The later it gets, the less likely it will be that those storms will be strong to severe. Highs will return to the low 90s Thursday and Friday.
Muggy high temps well into the 80s along with the chance of some pop-up showers are pretty standard fare for early August. By the weekend, a drier, somewhat cooler and less humid pattern may move in - at least for a couple days. Isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be possible each day this week, with high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s.
