LG G8X Renders Leak, Tip Dewdrop Notch, Dual Rear Cameras, Headphone Jack

LG-G8X-ThinQ

LG G8X is an upcoming flagship smartphone from the South Korean Tech Giant which will be another variant of the LG G8.

The LG G8X ThinQ is tipped to be the company's first smartphone to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. While that is expected to be the upcoming V-series smartphone, LG appears to be readying up another smartphone which is reportedly labelled as the LG G8X ThinQ as renders and some information about the device has now been leaked online. At the back, you'll see the same horizontally-aligned dual camera module accompanied by the sensors and an LED flash.

LG Electronics on Monday unveiled a teaser video of the second 5G phone with a detachable dual screen, which is set to make its global debut next month.

Near the end of the clip, the two screens folded to show the outer contours of a smartphone and a date and time is displayed. Interestingly, the renders reveal an earpiece at the top of the phone, suggesting the G8X ThinQ may not have the Crystal Sound OLED technology present on the G8 ThinQ. The back of the device uses a glass panel just like its predecessor. The buttons on the right and left sides have power and volume controls, respectively. We expect it to be powered by the same Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor as the G8 ThinQ, paired with at least 6GB of RAM. There's a SIM card tray at the top which the bottom edge of the LG phone will feature a USB-C port, 3.5mm audio jack and speaker grills. Just below the volume rockers, there is another key which might be used for the Google Assistant. Since the launch event is nearing, we might see more leaks and details to come forward giving us some glimpse on the hardware.
