Chelsea manager Frank Lampard was left disgusted by racist abuse of striker Tammy Abraham online after the UEFA Super Cup final defeat to Liverpool midweek and called on social networks Friday to do more to prevent the publication of offensive content.
Kante is expected to play a key role for Chelsea against Leicester City on Sunday, August 18, at Stamford Bridge after surviving 120 minutes of football against Liverpool.
"I don't know how these platforms are allowed, it's too easy to be done, something needs to be done as well as people obviously changing their mindsets completely".
The result leaves Frank Lampard looking for his first win as Chelsea FC boss after the Blues were beaten 4-0 by Manchester United in their Premier League opener last weekend.
Lampard expects the goals to flow for Abraham once he gets off the mark in a Chelsea shirt.
"He's a young player, he has strong qualities and attributes". A spirited performance has raised the team's morale and while the whole team played a notch better, there was one man in the midfield who seemed to be slightly above everyone else on his side.
"I like to play at this position, this is where I played past year", Kante remarks. "We've got three games now till the worldwide break and we'll try to win them all", said Lampard, whose team host Leicester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
Lampard said he had offered words of comfort to Abraham, the 21-year-old who has returned after a loan at Aston Villa with Chelsea unable to make new signings due to a transfer ban.
Antonio Rudiger and Willian could both return after knee injuries but Callum Hudson-Odoi is still out with an Achilles problem. "I don't want to look like I'm moaning, I'm delighted with our performance, we didn't lose the game because of that but it was a bit frustrating".
"He will come back stronger".
Lampard was also delighted with the contribution of US star Christian Pulisic, who made his full debut after signing from Borussia Dortmund in January.
"I think there's a lot more to come. I am really happy with him".
