Bhaijaan may face ban if he works with Mika: Cine Employees Assn

Mika Singh is likely to perform in one of the shows by Salman Khan called Up Close and Personal with Salman in the US

Mika Singh has made an appeal to the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) to not take strict action against him following his performance in Pakistan. He performed in Karachi, at the wedding festivities of former President of Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf's daughter's billionaire cousin. Well, we wonder if Salman Khan's decision to work with Mika is affected after this. Mika is expected to join them in the Houston leg of the programme, due to take place on August 28.

However, AICWA has held a very strong stand against Mika as they have not only officially banned him, but had also staged a protest in front of his residence recently. When prodded about Mika promoting the concert details on social media, the spokesperson added, "Mika must be using Salman's name to promote himself, which everyone in the industry does". The tour is being organized by the Sultan actors brother, Sohail Khan's event company in association with Jordy Patel of JA Events in India and Bhavesh Patel in the US.

It further stated, "We at FWICE have zero tolerance for such acts and unanimously condemn it as anti-national, unpatriotic and ghastly and totally ban Mika Singh alias Amrik Singh and the 14 crew members who participated in the presentation from any performance, recording, playback singing, acting in India". He told Mid Day, "If we impose a ban, it means all our technicians - including actors, directors and even spot boys - will not work with Mika".

When Mid-Day got in touch with Jordy Patel to know about Mika's involvement in the show, he said, "We are only dealing with Bhavesh Patel as our contract is with him". According to him, some local promoter in the United States has added Mika as a performer but Salman's team has confirmed that the star will have no interaction with Mika at the event or on the stage. However, a team member clarified that Mika and Salman will not share the stage at the event. "Our policy is simple - we will not work with the person who has been banned", he added.
