Woman receives 'marijuana' birthday cake after request for 'Moana' theme is misunderstood

A Georgia woman said a miscommunication while ordering her birthday cake led to dessert having a marijuana theme rather than the intended Moana theme.

"Look at everything that it took", Walker said when asked why she declined the offer.

"The manager stood behind me while I pulled the images off the internet", the mother-of-two told USA Today. "That ice cream cake was still good though".

"It was a mistake", she said. "It's not amusing to me", she told USA Today.

"They requested a cake decorated with the Disney Hawaiian princess, but got one with a marijuana leaf, green icing and a stoned 'My Little Pony" character! She told USA Today she made the cake after her manager, who she says misheard Davis' mother, told her it was OK. "My mama called and ordered me a cake telling them how much I loved Moana".

Davis did not respond to a Facebook message from USA Today seeking comment. "Well needless to say these people thought she said marijuana". "We all died of laughter because it was obviously an honest mistake".

However, after photos of the cake went viral, Walker was served separation papers on Monday, which was her birthday, reported USA TODAY. It has since been shared more than 13,000 times.

"I was just sharing with my Facebook friends how amusing the mix-up was and it just went from there", Davis explained. "We weren't mad or anything, that's why we didn't call back and tell them obviously a mistake had been made", Davis said. "I have two little girls here".

It's a summer Friday and you've already read everything you need to read about the Russell Westbrook trade, so I'm kicking things off with a non-sports story that will be more amusing than anything else you read today. "It's not amusing to me".

She had worked at the Dairy Queen for about a year.

"Our cake decorator designed a cake based on what she thought she heard the customer order", Autry wrote in an email to INSIDER.

She said she was told by Al Autry, who is one of the Dairy Queen's owners, that she couldn't be employed anymore.
