Jeff Hardy Arrested For Being Drunk In Public

WWE superstar arrested by Myrtle Beach police

As reported on Saturday afternoon, WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy was arrested in Myrtle Beach this weekend and charged with public intoxication.

Hardy's arrest report cited ordinance, public intoxication and impairment. is also reporting Hardy's fine was $153, which is the amount paid for first time offenders in Myrtle Beach.

Hardy was arrested at about 11 a.m., Myrtle Beach Police Cpl. After multiple tag team championship reigns with his brother, and a release from the company for his erratic behavior, he finally won the heavyweight title in his return to WWE in 2009.

Jeff was arrested for a DWI a year ago, following a vehicle accident.

The 41-year-old has been out of action since April after undergoing knee surgery.

WWE said in a statement, via Wrestling Inc: "Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions".

Hardy won't be required to show up in court if he doesn't want to fight the charge.

Jeff now finds himself on WWE's injury reserve list having suffered a leg issue severe enough for the company to strip him and brother Matt of their SmackDown Tag Team Championships, and isn't expected to return for another 5-7 months.
