When 007 met the Prince: Bond film set gets royal visit

Prince Charles and Daniel Craig

"Toward the end of the day, normally."The Prince appeared in a cameo in a mini-movie alongside Craig in a parody of the famous British spy films".

A second tweet read: "Joining actors @NaomieHarris and @LashanaLynch on the set of #Bond25, The Prince watches a scene being filmed on monitors".

Prince Charles toured the Bond 25 sets on Thursday and was introduced to cast Daniel, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Lashana Lynch and director Cary Joji Fukunaga.

Daniel Craig hosted Prince Charles on the set of James Bond and if the pictures are anything to go by, it looks like the pair may have formed quite the bromance.

Craig, who will reprise his role as Agent 007 for the fifth and final time, underwent minor surgery following an ankle injury while filming the movie in Jamaica last month. Directed by Cary Fukunaga, Bond 25 will also see the return of Jeffrey Wright, Ben Wishaw, Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris while Oscar-winner Rami Malek will be essaying the Bond villain, this time.

On arrival, Charles was met by executive producer Barbara Broccoli, chairman of Pinewood Studios Paul Golding and the BFI's chief executive Amanda Nevill.

Charles sported a colourful tie decorated with speed boats and palm trees, a possible nod to the Jamaican setting of Bond 25.

Prince Charles also recalled previously visits to Pinewood Studios, including going on set with Peter Sellers for one of the Pink Panther movies.

Charles with the Bond 25 trainees from schools including the BFI Film Academy and the London Film School.

"That's not something I would entertain, so if that is why I am your choice then you can count me out". "The one thing I have going for me is I played one beloved Brit in Freddie Mercury and I pulled that off, so I feel like I can possibly have a shot at playing the villain in a Bond film".

She said: "I don't think anything is a mistake when it comes to His Royal Highness". And in the collection of Charles has a rare Aston Martin DB5 Volante.
