First Trailers for James Mangold's 'Ford v. Ferrari' with Bale & Damon

This is when Shelby comes across Ken Miles, a British racer, played by Christian Bale. Let me ask you a related question: Would they make a movie about them if they didn't?

Flawless lap: 'Out there is the ideal lap. It stars Matt Damon and Christian Bale as a true-life race auto designer and driver, respectively, who team up to create a vehicle that could win the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Then the two get to work to develop and test the Ford GT40 before heading to Le Mans where just about everyone knows what happened, with the Blue Oval's race cars crossing the finish line in an epic 1-2-3 win. Shelby recommends Ken Miles, a "pure racer" who also has a reputation for being hard.

While Ford is nervous about Miles, saying he's hard, Shelby insists he's a 'puppy dog, ' despite a scene where Miles punches Shelby in the face. Starring Matt Damon as Shelby, Christian Bale as Miles, with Tracy Letts as Henry Ford II, plus an ensemble cast including Jon Bernthal, Caitriona Balfe, Josh Lucas, Noah Jupe, JJ Feild, Ray McKinnon, and Remo Girone as Enzo Ferrari. Shelby claims, "Ken is a puppy dog" and that's intentionally intercut with him getting punched in the face by Miles to disprove his statement.
