Dr. Skip Bayless Has Logged On to Diagnose Klay Thompson

NBA world reacts to news that Klay Thompson tore his ACL in Game 6 loss

The Toronto Raptors beat the Golden State Warriors 114-110 in Game 6 to win the first National Basketball Association title in franchise history.

Thompson was injured after being fouled by Toronto's Danny Green on a breakaway dunk with 2:22 left in the third quarter as the Warriors, down 3-2, fought to keep their season alive.

ESPN's Doris Burke later reported that he was ruled out of the rest of the game because of the injury.

You can never question Klay Thompson's grit.

Thompson was helped off the court, then returned briefly to shoot a pair of free throws before limping back off.

After tearing his ACL, Thompson limped down the tunnel and into the locker room. Had he left the game without shooting free throws, he wouldn't have been allowed to return.

Warriors general manager Bob Myers and Warriors director of sports medicine and performance Rick Celebrini walked behind Thompson as he made his way back to the locker room, much like they did with Durant on Monday night.

The injury news on Klay Thompson could not be worse.

"Obviously he's a warrior", Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins said.
