Beyoncé meets Nala from Broadway's The Lion King ahead of Disney remake

Beyoncé Simba and Danny Glover

A new TV spot for Walt Disney Pictures' upcoming live-action adaptation of The Lion King has arrived online offering a preview of Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and Donald Glover's rendition of the classic song "Can You Feel The Love Tonight".

According to AV Club, the global spot surfaced on Twitter and features Donald Glover's Simba and Beyoncé's Nala singing "Can You Feel the Love Tonight".

The original song was composed and performed by Elton John while the lyrics were written by Tim Rice.

During the gala, Winters - who took over the lioness role in January - performed the song Shadowland from the Tony-winning musical, which is now running at Manhattan's Minskoff Theatre. It showcases Glover's awesome voice along with Beyonce's signature style and ensures that the version truly belongs to the Lion King remake. Now, we have another teaser for it, featuring a Beyonce and Donald duet of "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" and we're not crying, you are. Needless to say, we just can't wait to be king to hear what happens when Billy Eichner's Timon and Seth Rogen's Pumbaa join in.

The songs certainly made the original Lion King such an all-time great addition to Disney's animated canon, so no wonder director Jon Favreau this time around wanted to round out the cast with exceptional vocal and singing talent.
