Ariana Grande has had an emotional couple of months, starting back in September when her ex Mac Miller tragically passed away. The 26-year-old rapper died of an accidental overdose of fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol, according to a toxicology report from the L.A. County Coroner's Office. A video has become viral on social media in which the Love Me Harder singer was heard getting choked up while singing the song Thank U, Next which is dedicated to Grande's past boyfriends including Mac Miller.
Before the show began, it was clear the evening would be in honour of the late rapper, real name Malcolm McCormick, as several of his biggest hits played over the speakers in the venue as fans took to their seats.
Sources close to Ariana have told Radar Online that her family are becoming concerned about her wellbeing, as she has had a few breakdowns with her emotions in recent times. She eventually recovered for the rest of the song, but also got upset prior to that, during the opening number, "Raindrops (An Angel Cried)". The audience rallied behind the pop star, belting out the song in her place as she composed herself on stage with the help of her dancers.
The release of the track couldn't have come at a better time.
He had dated Ariana Grande for two years before parting ways in May 2018. The song titled "Time" which was released on Wednesday features Miller and singer Kali Uchis. Despite the fact they had ended their romance at that time, Ariana always had a deep connection and she wanted him to enjoy his life.
