After a mainly dry and very nice holiday weekend our chance for showers and storms increases for Memorial Day. Damaging winds will be the most likely of threats but the chance for large hail and isolated tornadoes also exists.
Thursday will be the coolest day not only with the high but with the low as well with low-mid 50s for lows and mid 70s for highs thanks to more of a northwest wind.
After highs Monday of 79-87 & the severe weather event in the evening, with some patchy fog, lows will drop to only 65-71 early this morning.
Record high temperatures will remain possible through Wednesday. Light south wind increasing to 5 to 10 miles per hour in the morning.
A few showers & storms may go up along it, but capping may prove to be a detriment to them. Overall, we're tracking a calmer end to the week, with highs in the mid-70s Wednesday and Thursday and near 80° Friday.
Today: Partly Cloudy, Scattered Showers/Storms. Highs will climb to the low 90s tomorrow.
The good news is that Memorial Day on Monday, May 27 will be picture ideal - sunny and seasonable with a high in the mid to upper 70s and calm winds of about eight miles per hour.
SUNDAY NIGHT: A few rain showers and storms will be possible, with a low of 64 degrees.
