Tottenham decline to subsidise Champions League ticket prices

Manchester City Facing a Costly UEFA Champions League Ban

City yesterday insisted they are "fully co-operating in good faith" with Uefa's ongoing investigation into alleged breaches of Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations by the club.

"The New York Times report citing "people familiar with the case" is therefore extremely concerning". The final decision is made by Leterme, chairman and chief investigator of Uefa's investigatory chamber. The implications are that either Manchester City's good faith in the CFCB IC is misplaced or the CFCB IC process is being misrepresented by individuals intent on damaging the club's reputation and its commercial interests.

Despite struggling on the final day of the season, Robertson is adamant that he will be ready for the final, especially with gaffer Jurgen Klopp giving the squad some well earned resting time ahead of the final in Madrid.

UEFA are looking to slap a 1 year ban on Manchester City, and will be advocating for that punishment in the coming month or so.

The club have already been punished for violating FFP, striking an agreement in 2014 that saw them fined rather than banned from the Champions League for inflated sponsorship deals with companies linked to the club or their ownership.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al-Nahyan, the billionaire businessman and member of the Abu Dhabi royal family, bought Manchester City in 2008.

The club also faces investigations from other sporting bodies over its financial dealings, including the Football Association, Fifa and the Premier League.

"I am a really, really positive guy and it is one of the best feelings to be playing in the Champions League Final, so I just want to make sure that I am ready for every single ball and every single second".

A video began to circulate on social media on Tuesday appearing to show City employees singing an alternate version of Liverpool's "Allez, Allez, Allez" chant while on a plane after beating Brighton and Hove Albion 4-1 on Sunday to clinch the trophy.

Jose Mourinho, out of a job since being sacked by Manchester United just before Christmas following their worst start to a season for 28 years, has not been able to resist a dig at both Jurgen Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino, managers of Champions League finalists Liverpool and Tottenham.

The 42-year-old awarded Manchester United a controversial late penalty in their last-16 victory over PSG in March.
