The game's just gotten another official delay alongside Ubisoft's latest financial reports, and it won't be out until after the end of the company's new fiscal year - which means no sooner than March 2020. While the publisher's most recent games in four franchises have produced wonderful results, the biggest news came from the future games that are in their portfolio.
Ubisoft's big pirate adventure, Skull & Bones, had already been delayed from its original launch in 2018, and it looks like it won't be out in 2019, either.
The release date for Skull & Bones has been pushed back again to after the new financial year, although no reason has been given for this. Skull and Bones will be released sometime after April 2020, then.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint was revealed last week and is a follow-up to Ghost Recon Wildlands that will be released on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on October 4, 2019. The remaining three are unannounced titles that will be released in Q4 FY2020, which is between January 1st and March 31st, 2020. "That's the type of experience we want people to have, so it's accessible and people can understand it", Justin Farren, the game's creative director at the time, told Kotaku. Ubisoft remains fully devoted to this exciting journey to bring you this brand new game, and we're confident Skull & Bones is going to be wonderful. More information at E3 and gamescom this year seems likely.
