‘Rick and Morty’ Season 4 to Premiere in 2019

According to Variety, Ricky and Morty's imminent return was announced at the WarnerMedia upfront presentation in NY. But thankfully the wait is nearly over, and soon you'll be treated to a whole new series of inter-dimensional and somewhat inappropriate adventures as it was announced today that after two years since the end of season three the fourth season will debut this November. When there's a specific date in November, we'll let you know. The debut of the season will come just over two years after the third season ended in October 2017, and while the wait has surely been arduous, fans were thrown a bone when it was announced last may that Adult Swim had renewed the show for an additional 70 episodes, which by the end will bring its total up to 101. We want the episodes to stay good, but we do also want to try to turn them around a little quicker now that we have this big order, I think it gives us the ability to be faster.

Roiland, who created the show alongside Dan Harmon, told Polygon: "We're super excited that, for the first time ever, we're locked in, we know what the future is, we have job security. It's going to be really cool". We've seen a handful of glimpses inside the production, including hints pointing to a new "Interdimensional Cable" episode, glimpses inside the writers room and the first announced guest voice for the new season. Its Season 3 finale delivered Adult Swim's highest ratings in history and helped the show claim the title of #1 comedy across all of television for 2017 with millennials. "Brand new Season 4 in November 2019, this year".

There are a lot of things you need to get used to as a fan of Rick and Morty, Adult Swim's beloved dark sci-fi animated sitcom.
