Stranger Things recently dropped its latest trailer for its forthcoming third season on March 20.
The lego set is super detailed as well, and in addition to including a light-up alphabet, it will also feature a couch, a coffee table, a telephone, an axe, a "Have You Seen Me?" flyer and, of course, a bear trap to catch the dimension-hopping Demogorgon. (It's available May 15 to Lego VIP rewards-program members.) Lego and Netflix last week teased that a "Stranger Things" toy was on its way in tweets last week. In a snazzy twist, though, the house is actually double-sided as a mirror image of itself, representing the show's dueling realities - the real world and the terrifying Upside Down. Joining the house are eight figures, each of them with their own accessories, including Eleven, Will, Mike, Lucas, Dustin, and a Demogorgon.
The level of detail here is really astonishing, and you can see that this isn't simply an easy tie-in. The design of the model's building instructions makes it a great shared building experience with friends and family. You get the house's front façade, but in the back are multiple rooms, including Will's bedroom.
The attic space includes a Mind Flayer drawing stickered element and a wizard hat for "Will the Wise".
The Upside Downset captures the look and feel from the Netflix original series, including creepy vines, dark coloring and a dilapidated look. Also included in the playset is Chief Hopper's police truck, which has a removable roof and a pumpkin (a reference to the mysteriously blighted pumpkin patches in season 2). "Measures over 12" (32cm) tall, 17" (44cm) wide and 8" (21cm) deep.
