Britain's Prince Harry, queen attend Windsor Castle royal wedding

Queen Elizabeth's first cousin once removed, Gabriella, a 38-year-old freelance writer and daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, tied the knot with financier Thomas Kingston, 40, at the castle's 15th Century St George's Chapel.

She entered the chapel at Windsor Castle to marry financier Thomas Kingston after stepping from a claret-coloured vintage vehicle, accompanied by her father, Prince Michael of Kent.

Queen Elizabeth was spotted in a hot pink outfit alongside her husband Prince Philip.

Among the guests - who arrived in vintage buses near St George's Chapel - was the creator of Downton Abbey, Julian Fellowes, and Pippa Middleton, who is the sister of the Duchess of Cambridge and also a friend of the groom.

Harry married Meghan Markle at the same chapel a year ago. Notably Meghan, Duchess of Sussex was also missing from the royal event, as she is still on maternity leave with baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

Prince William was missing from the festivities as he had to fulfil his duties as president of the Football Association at the FA Cup final.

"I've been in love with her dresses for a long time and I'm so lucky to have my dream dress designed by her", Windsor said of Beccaria, according to Brides.

Like royal weddings past, the floral arrangements were the things dreams are made of. Perhaps the most significant touch was the ivory "Ella" rose by David Austin named after the bride.

Lady Gabriella and Mr Kingston, 40, have been in a relationship for several years and became engaged last summer on the island of Sark.

Windsor wore the second to an afternoon reception held at Frogmore House, the third to a yet-to-be disclosed evening celebration, and a fourth to a post-wedding brunch the following day.
