Kim Kardashian explains sink with no basin

Kim Kardashian West says she ‘aced’ torts exam after revealing plans to become lawyer

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star shared a look inside her modern bathroom during a tour of her home for Vogue's 73 Questions interview, and many viewers were baffled about how they work as they don't have basins.

Following a fiery Insta exchange where she shot back at her critics for pursuing her lawyerly ambitions, first-year law student Kim Kardashian has been pictured rocking up to sit a tort law exam. "It comes up and down, looks just like the floor", she described. And there's a slit for the water.

Later in the short clip, she gave a brief tour of her Calabasas home.

It's not only the bathroom sinks that are unusual, but the light switches too. "Kanye, Axel Vervoordt, and Claudio Silvestrin kind of all did this sink", she explained.

"Okay, so, since everyone is a little bit confused about our sinks I thought I would show you guys a little tour of our bathroom", she began, panning the camera around the ridiculously large room, complete with a bathtub big enough for North, Saint and Chicago. "You can put it on as high pressure as you want and no backsplash will come up", she added.

So there you have it: The sink doesn't have a cover like we originally thought, but it does apparently slope down enough to be able to drain water, even without a visible basin.

"They are just three little buttons and they go 'on, ' 'dim, ' and 'off, '" Kim explained. "There's no box around it which I think is really cool and more visually appealing", she said.

She also showed off another wonderful bit of tech that didn't make it into her original home tour, and this one is actually pretty enviable.
