Kevin Hunter Concerned For Wendy Williams' Financial Security Post-Divorce

Wendy Williams And Charlamagne Tha God Might Rekindle Their Friendship- He Asked Her Out To Dinner And Fans Are Celebrating- Watch The Video

The host of New York's famed radio show, "The Breakfast Club", explained he stopped talking to Williams, 54, almost ten years ago because of her soon-to-be ex-husband, Kevin Hunter.

Kevin Hunter had to pack up and move out of his shared home with estranged wife Wendy Williams, but it doesn't mean he's done thinking about the well being of his soon to be ex-wife anytime soon.

The 54-year-old talk show host filed for divorce just last week - a decision that was reportedly sparked by Kevin's alleged longtime mistress having his child last month. This past week, Mr. Hunter released a statement in which he said he took full responsibility for his actions and felt awful about it.

Williams didn't mention Hunter by name, as she tended not to do while addressing their rumored marital issues on past occasions, but not saying his name carried extra symbolism this time.

Wendy Williams is diving into the single life!

Hunter released an apology on Tuesday admitting he was not "proud of his recent actions" and was "trying to right some wrongs" while taking "full accountability" for what he had done. As fans know, Kevin's ousting comes amid his and Wendy's divorce.

On Thursday, Wendy discussed Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People list, and gave her two cents on who she thought should have made the cut.

"The invitations for social events just keep pouring into my phone".

'I was minding my own business last night, reading my book - you know, I love to read - and all of a sudden my cellphone rings'. "They really do", she said while seated in her velvet chair.

Since filing for divorce, Wendy has seemed chipper in spirits and even rekindled her friendship with former colleague Charlamagne Tha God, who offered to take her to dinner.

Meanwhile, Wendy has remained business as usual, appearing upbeat on her show throughout the week. After taking an extended hiatus from The Wendy Williams Show from January to March, Williams, who has always been open about a past addiction to cocaine, revealed last month that she has been living in a sober house. Alcoholism, and I have a whole new life that I plan for myself and my son, ' said Williams. "I have a commitment to me and my son to come out of here better, stronger and faster than ever".
