On the day of Game of Thrones season 8 premiere, Reese Witherspoon unveiled the teaser of another HBO hit, Big Little Lies.

HBO confirmed the highly anticipated premiere date on Sunday with a minute-long teaser giving a glimpse at the Meryl Streep-enhanced second season.

The second season sees the return of Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern, and Zoe Kravitz.

Together, they make up the "Monterey Five", as people are now calling them. She plays new character Mary Louise Wright, mother of Alexander Skarsgård's Perry Wright, and mother-in-law of Nicole Kidman's Celeste Wright. "I wanna know what happened that night". "I'm very tempted to ask you, but I..."

The clip built up to a jaw-dropping moment from none other than Meryl Streep, who joins the cast for the new season of the limited series that David E. Kelley adapted from the 2014 novel of the same name by Liane Moriarty. "I don't think I would get the truth, would I?"
