According to the source, Microsoft will launch the Xbox One S All Digital tomorrow, at a special event. The rumour first gained traction when it was revealed by the perpetually reliable Thurrott in November previous year.
The Xbox One S All-Digital looks nearly identical to the Xbox One S, and comes with a 1TB hard drive.
For the European market, the All Digital system will feature a 1TB hard drive and come with the games Forza Horizon 3, Sea of Thieves, and Minecraft pre-installed. It is expected that pre-orders will be opened up shortly after the launch with availability starting from 7 May in Europe. It also makes a good value proposition as a Fortnite and Apex machine, especially if the lack of disc drive helps shave off some of the cost. Additionally, the new console will also support HDR gaming in 4K according to the leaked packaging.
Even though the Xbox One S all-digital edition is launching at a budget price, it will still provide some decent power for those looking to upgrade from the standard Xbox One console.
From what we know at the moment, it seems as though the Xbox One S All Digital will only be available in white, will come complete with a single controller, and it could be unveiled by Microsoft on April 16.
Again, we must stress that Microsoft has yet to officially announce the all-digital Xbox One S, but the leaks have remained pretty consistent with one another.
