The film, which was originally going to be called, "The Many Saints of Newark", is now simply titled, "Newark". The cast includes Alessandro Nivola, Vera Farmiga, Ray Liotta, Jon Bernthal, Corey Stoll, Billy Magnussen, John Magaro, and Michael Gandolfini.
