Diana Ross Celebrates 75th Birthday With Family and on Grammy Stage
Never one to shy away from the stage, Sunday's performance offered a window into Ross' new Las Vegas residency, "Diamond Diana", at the Wynn Las Vegas. But the limelight was nearly stolen from right under her nose, by her own grandson - 9-year-old Raif, the son of her eldest daughter, Rhonda Ross Kendrick, 47.
Diana Ross received quite the introduction from her 9-year-old grandson, Raif-Henok, at the 2019 Grammy Awards.

"She is unbelievable and young people like me can look up to her for her independence, confidence and her willingness to be her unique self". She exclaimed, "Thank you for being here and celebrating my 75th birthday!"
Diana then came out in a show-stopping red ball gown to perform "The Best Years Of My Life", which immediately brought the crowd to its feet.
"She has shown the world that nothing is beyond our reach", he said.
But the audience on Sunday night was then treated to an nearly embarrassingly over-the-top and self-involved celebration of the singer as she sang some of her biggest hits.
"She is awesome", he said. She ended her performance by declaring "Happy birthday to me!" twice.
Diana Ross' grandson is a tough act to follow, even if the performer is Ross herself.
This isn't the first time that Ross has earned special recognition from the Recording Academy: In 2012, the singer was honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
