The Accidental Prime Minister and Uri The Surgical Strike movie review Bollywood welcomes 2019 with two releases

The Surgical Strike seems to have pleased the audience with its dose of patriotism. "Till the film is released, you don't have an idea if it is going to work". The actor, who was seen in films like "Raazi", "Sanju" and "Manmarziyaan" a year ago, will soon be gearing up for Karan Johar's "Takht", which will also feature Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor. However, Anupam Kher starrer movie is not the only competition for Uri as Rohit Shetty's directorial action movie Simmba which was released on 28th December 2018, is also giving a good competition to Vicky's movie even in its third week. The film made about Rs 8-8.25 crore nett on its opening day. With back to back hits, RSVP has given Vicky Kaushal the biggest solo hit of his career.

The Surgical Strike has had a satisfactory start at the box office with a collection of Rs 8.20 crore at the domestic market on first day.

Based on real incidents, Uri: The Surgical Strike collected Rs 11 crore (approximately) at the Indian box office on Saturday, according to early estimates.

We meet a very motivated major Vihaan Singh Shergill played by Vicky Kaushal, actor Paresh Rawal is seen as National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, while Yami Gautam portrays the role of an intelligence officer. The film has been directed by Aditya Dhar and it has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala.
