R. Kelly facing criminal investigations after Lifetime documentary exposes abuse allegations

While no charges have now been brought in Kelly's other residence of Chicago, Cook County state attorney Kim Foxx held a press conference on Tuesday to encourage any victims to "please come forward".

R. Kelly is reportedly under investigation in the state of Georgia.

The Savage family said they have been unable to reach Joycelyn Savage for some time after associating with the singer.

"The recent allegations against entertainer R. Kelly in the recent Lifetime documentary series are deeply, deeply disturbing", she said.

Kelly has not commented on the latest allegations made in the series but his attorney said the allegations are false, calling this another round of stories.

Foxx called a press conference to make it known that she is willing to look into opening an investigation, but needs the unknown accusers and their families to come forward. Before the series aired, Kelly and his lawyers had dismissed the accusations and threatened to sue Lifetime.

- The Chicago-based attorney for musician R. Kelly broke his silence Wednesday evening defending his client. "There are no photos of [Kelly] with these women". Both Kelly and the girl denied that the video depicted them, and no assault charges were ever brought against Kelly as a result of the tape. Through interviews with family members and former members of the Kelly's inner circle, the report alleged that the singer kept at least six women in a "cult" across his properties in Chicago and Atlanta.

In 2008, a Cook County jury found Kelly not guilty on 14 counts of child pornography charges.

Horrified and disturbed by the findings, Foxx wants to aid victims who seek justice against Kelly and his team of enablers who kept Kelly unscathed by the fire which has yet to engulf him. Parents of the women involved said at the time that they had attempted to get their daughters out of Kelly's homes, accusing him of controlling their eating habits, how they engaged in sexual activity and ruling over when they take baths or sleep. I'm an open book!
