Cristiano Ronaldo ‘to take legal action’ against model Jasmine Lennard

Mayorga revealed in September 2018 that she was the woman who had previously accused Ronaldo of raping her back in 2010, which led to an out-of-court settlement that was first reported by Der Spiegel in 2017.

Mayorga is the American woman who is accusing the former Real Madrid and Manchester United star of assaulting her in an hotel in America.

She alleges the striker then paid her $375,000 to keep it a secret.

Police reopened the case a year ago when she came forward.

Ronaldo has repeatedly denied the rape allegations.

The dress Mayorga was wearing on the night of the alleged rape in 2009 is a key piece of evidence in the case.

The German newspaper Der Spiegel reported in October previous year that Ronaldo allegedly employs a team of fixers, including at least one private detective, to deal with the public relations disaster he faced after he was accused of rape by Kathryn Mayorga.

Now, according to TMZ, Ronaldo is claiming that he doesn't even know Lennard and that they never actually dated.

Las Vegas Police initially investigated in 2009, but had no named suspect at the time, as the victim did not provide the location or name.

Ronaldo, then 24, was on vacation in Las Vegas and met Ms. Mayorga in the Rain nightclub at the Palms Casino Resort before inviting her to a party in his suite, according to her civil complaint.

It was there that Ronaldo forced himself on Ms. Mayorga while she begged him to stop, she alleges.

Mayorga filed a lawsuit against the 33-year-old football superstar last year, saying she remained traumatized by her alleged ordeal and that she had been emboldened to take the step by the MeToo movement.

Under Nevada law, there is no statute of limitations on investigations or potential charges stemming from such reports.
