Rudy Giuliani blames Twitter for his spectacular typo fail

Rudy Giuliani

His current lawyer, the once respected Rudy Giuliani, is also singing for his supper, debasing himself in defence of the president, as every White House employee is required to do these days. "Out of control!Supervision please?" Right now, in 2018, Guiliani believes he is being maliciously cyberattacked on Twitter because he doesn't know how links work.

Mr Giuliani left out a space between a full stop and the following word within a tweet, which caused the text to become a link.

This was, however, spotted by Jason Velazquez, an Arizona-based website designer, who immediately saw the potential for a prank, and registered the domain. No one picked by Trump seems to really know what their job is, let alone seems able to do it.

Giuliani wrote on Tuesday afternoon: "Twitter allowed someone to invade my text with a disgusting anti-President message".

To bolster his argument, Giuliani noted that his second "period no space" error ("Helsinki.Either") didn't generate a link. He had a limited amount of time to act (needing to go onstage for an improv show) but it took all of 15 minutes, he told the New York Times. With no facts or justification, he blamed Twitter, saying employees there are "cardcarrying anti-Trumpers".

The clever critic bought the domain space and used it to post the message, "Donald J Trump is a traitor to our country". Velazquez described setting up the site as 15 minutes' work.

This is a man, remember, whom Trump appointed to serve as a cybersecurity adviser.

In his tweet, the president's attorney railed against Mueller for the timing of the special counsel's legal moves, two of which were issued while Trump was traveling overseas.
