White woman in viral racist rant facing 911 violation charge

Susan Westwood

The white woman caught on video racially harassing two Black women in North Carolina was finally served criminal warrants, which included a charge for misusing 911.

Susan Westwood, widely dubbed "South Park Susan", was booked by the Sunset Beach Police Department on Saturday on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for misuse of the 911 system and four criminal summons, local station WCNC reported.

One of the women Westwood yelled at in the parking lot of a North Carolina apartment complex posted the video to Facebook, showing how Westwood treated her and her sister when she approached them that night.

Susan Jane Westwood, 51, was subsequently fired from her job at Charter Communications after footage of the encounter went viral.

Police were called to the scene but Westwood had left before they arrived.

Law enforcement officials had issued a warrant for Westwood - dubbed "South Park Susan" - and released the two calls she made to 911 on October 19.

In the 911 calls released by police and published by the news station, Westwood was heard identifying the women to police as "African-American" and saying, "they've been hanging out here for a while, and they've been photographing me". Westwood also asked the women if were visiting their "baby daddy" and if she needs to show her concealed weapon. "Being hot, being attractive, being white?" "I'm still going to make $125,000 Monday morning".

"Westwood adds she'd pay "$2,500 to get them out of here. Westwood says near the beginning of one video.

Westwood's employer, Charter Communications, confirmed to Yahoo Lifestyle on October 29 that she was sacked after she was identified as the woman in the video, which was taken on October 19.

According to the tape, Westwood also tells the 911 dispatcher, "They've been hanging out here for awhile".

"Right now, they're causing problems".

Westwood was sacked from her job following the incident. They're begging for money, and we need to get them out of here...
