Usyk tells Bellew: A little less conversation, a little more action

Retired American Andre Ward had been linked in the past to a fight against Bellew

On Saturday night, Coldwell aims for even bigger heights as he takes Liverpool's Tony Bellew into battle against Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk with every single honour at cruiserweight on the line.

The one thing you need to know with Tony Bellew is he doesn't look great aesthetically, but somehow, he finds a way to win.

"There are openings - but listen, there are a lot more openings in me than there is him".

However, Ukrainian Usyk, who now boasts a 15-0 professional record, has admitted he would consider stepping up a division to challenge Joshua, if he can brush aside Bellew.

For instance, the last southpaw Bellew fought was Ilunga Makabu and he got dropped, heavily.

Bellew 30-2-1 (20KO's) has certainly improved since finally evacuating his title hopes at Light Heavyweight, where he had contentiously lost to Nathan Cleverly - he avenged that loss at Cruiserweight - while being stopped by a dominant Adonis Stevenson in 2013.

"If I can fight for all four belts, I would like it".

For fans of the divisive but ever popular Tony Bellew this is anticipated as if it were the fight of the year.

You must rewire your defensive capabilities, with different angles, changing your defensive patterns, movements and counter-punching.

I believe he started camp very early; I saw him at the AJ fight and he looked in good shape already. That's the reason I didn't struggle with David Haye's speed and David Haye is much quicker than Oleksandr Usyk with one punch, and much, much, more destructive with the way he hits.

This is the fight that will write the biggest headlines on "The Bomber's" career.

Bellew knows that he will have to bring his best performance. He is a sneaky boxer as well but I do believe Usyk has the edge. But Tony will be going into this fight with confidence, he riding high off his recent victories and he's going to feel invincible stepping into the ring. But I will get to him. A body assault could be very useful in the early rounds.

The 31-year-old is no spring chicken in age terms but he remains lightly raced as a pro with just 15 fights to his name so far, which makes him a relative novice without the head guard.
