Ginsburg 'Up And Working' From Hospital After Injury From Fall

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is out of the hospital, but not back on her feet. quite yet. It was then confirmed that she had broken her ribs.

Ginsburg is the Supreme Court's oldest justice, and one of four judges considered to be liberal on the nine-seat court.

Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg shared the news of the 85-year-old's release, telling USA Today that Bader Ginsburg "is doing well and plans to work from home today".

"The last I heard she was up and working, of course, because what else would she be doing, and cracking jokes", Mr. Stiepleman told the outlet, "I can't promise they were good jokes but they were jokes".

Ginsburg returned home Friday after falling Wednesday night in her court office and heading to the hospital Thursday.

She has had two prior bouts with cancer and had a stent implanted to open a blocked artery in 2014. The court is now divided 5-4 in favor of conservatives, and the Republican-controlled Senate is poised to confirm any of Donald Trump's potential Supreme Court appointments for the next two years.

Ginsburg was appointed in 1993 by former President Bill Clinton.
