Princess Eugenie arrives at Windsor Castle for her wedding day

Kate stepped out in the chic lilac dress for an event in London

As the royal "fab four" arrived at St George's Chapel in Windsor, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex skirted around royal tradition by getting out of their auto first and entering the chapel ahead of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Only eight years old at the time, the youngster looked simply adorable in a white bridesmaid dress, and joined the family while waving to well-wishers on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

Eugenie, 28, is ninth-in-line to the throne and a director at the London gallery Hauser & Wirth.

So Kate Moss was undoubtedly honoured to grace the dazzling event at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, where she brought her daughter Lila as her date.

Senior British royals have begun arriving at St George's Chapel for the wedding of Princess Eugenie.

Princess Eugenie has suggested her wedding dress could reveal scars from a childhood back surgery.

Princess Eugenie then met Jack Brooksbank at the altar.

After the service, the couple will embark on an open-top carriage tour of Windsor, although shorter than the one Harry and Meghan, now the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, took when thousands lined the streets of the town.

This is why at many events we see Harry and Meghan standing slightly behind Wills and Kate. "I was here for Harry and Meghan's wedding, I wouldn't miss it, I love the atmosphere".

The Queen is hosting an afternoon reception afterwards in the castle, while an evening party is expected at the York family home, the Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park.

Eugenie told Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford from ITV's This Morning show, which will be screening the ceremony live, that her "humble and generous" husband-to-be had the ability to "make everyone feel so special". And just like Harry and Megs, the couple have also invited members of the public - 1,200, to be exact - to witness the big day up close and personal.

Their five-year-old son, Prince George, will be a page boy, and Princess Charlotte, 3, will be one of six bridesmaids.

The group says Eugenie does not carry out royal duties and that weddings are personal, private occasions, not affairs of state.

And with the presence of so many royals - and a number of celebrity guests - extra security measures have been put in place.
