They explained that the adolescence and the early years of adulthood are a time of change- moving schools, leaving home, and starting work.

The PM will also announce the campaign to train a million people in mental health awareness - Every Mind Matters - launches today, with a pilot in the West Midlands ahead of a national rollout next spring.

Against this background, Wheeler said greater efforts must be made to "help young people build mental resilience".

The governor explained that people with mental health problems deserve love, care, understanding and support. We respond to more than five million requests for help a year.
