Dallas Cowboys finally run Dak Prescott, blowout the Jaguars

Next Article Jaguars Sign Former Star Alabama RB

Despite the Jaguars just being the better team, a Cowboys win at home this week would make both these teams 3-3.

Jacksonville has won two of the past three meetings, although Dallas took the most recent match-up in Texas back in 2010. Their losses have come against teams with dual-threat quarterbacks. The offensive identities are built around the run game.

Leonard Fournette has been dealing with a lingering hamstring injury that has limited him to only two starts and 24 total touches in his second season in the NFL. Yeldon is averaging 4.4 yards per carry, and has nearly 200 yards receiving and 4 total touchdowns.

The good news for Jacksonville is the Jags field one of the league's top defenses. There has been a lot of drama surrounding the team, especially following last week's loss to the Houston Texans.

However, DAZN is the only place to watch all regular-season (including Thursday night, Sunday night and Monday night games) and playoff games, plus exclusive access to RedZone. The other was undrafted free agent rookie out of Arkansas, David Williams. Jacksonville is on its third left tackle in Josh Walker. It's still worth monitoring the newfound depth, however. I'm going to take the Cowboys to cover at home, riding Zeke Elliott to a punch-counterpunch type cover.

Tony Romo is coming back to AT&T Stadium.

At home, things have been a completely different story.

Dallas has struggled so far this season, getting off to a 2-3 start. The 30-14 loss was ugly, to say the least. Jaguars DE Calais Campbell and Cowboys DE DeMarcus Lawrence tied for second in National Football League with 14½ sacks last season.

That fact might play into the Jaguars' decision-making with star cornerback Jalen Ramsey. But he threw career-high four interceptions against Chiefs. That's great and all, but it hasn't translated to success on the field. Seferian-Jenkins is eligible to return after eight games.

At the half, the Jaguars had three first downs, 64 total yards, four punts, and trailed 24-0.

"I feel good. Last year, I was trying to get back to feeling good and get back healthy again", Charles told local media on Wednesday. Sitting with a 2-3 record and their season on the line before Halloween, Dallas pulled off the mask of the first five games and gave one of their best performances of the Jason Garrett era, whooping the Jacksonville Jaguars by the final score of 40-7. The Jaguars have been ravaged by injuries on that side of the football.

For Jacksonville, starting 3-2 is not how they envision starting the season. Amidst all of those problems, however, the Dallas defense has kept them competitive, even with linebacker Sean Lee now dealing with an injury.

In the end, that's going to be too much to overcome.

As for the Jaguars, it's been their defense that has kept them in game this season.
