Aaron Hernandez was sexually abused as young boy, report says

Aaron Hernandez Was Molested & Had A Homosexual Relationship: Report

The Boston Globe recently launched a six-part series that dives into the life of former National Football League player Aaron Hernadez.

Among the revelations from the newspaper's Spotlight team in a six-part series and podcast is that the former New England Patriots tight end was "sexually molested" as a child.

Lloyd gave an example of one time when Brady had had enough of Hernandez, who was causing a disruption during a walkthrough practice.

"I picked up the phone once to call, to seek help", Jonathan said to the Globe about the abuse.

Hernandez's brother, Jonathan, told the Globe their father had physically abused them when they were boys. At times, the beatings coincided with Dennis' drinking. "And (my dad's) response was, 'Call them.' And he handed me the phone, and he said, 'I'm going to beat you even harder, you and your brother, and they're going to have to pull me off of you when they knock down the door'". Friends took note that Hernandez didn't cry when his father died at age 49 from routine hernia surgery, according to The Globe, and yet some believe he never recovered from his father's death.

In a new, revealing interview, the late Aaron Hernandez's brother, Jonathan Hernandez, claimed their father abused Aaron because of his hidden sexuality.

Jonathan also revealed that his father used anti-gay slurs around the house.

SanSoucie told the Globe that they got high on marijuana often, and strove to hide their relationship: "Me and him were very much into trying to hide what we were doing. We didn't want people to know", SanSoucie told The Globe.

Former Patriots linebacker Dane Fletcher, who like Hernandez was a rookie with the team in 2010, said he and Hernandez had a volatile relationship from the start, exchanging both insults and punches.

Dennis, according to the report, "had concerns that Aaron, as a boy, had a feminine way about him".

Aaron's life at home was "deeply homophobic", Jonathan added.
