The Powerball jackpot meanwhile, has not been claimed since August 11 and Wednesday's draw failed to produce a lucky victor, Boston 25 News reported.

The numbers are 3, 57, 64, 68, 69 and the Powerball is 15.

Lottery officials say three people have won $1 million playing in the past 10 days.

Two national lottery games - Mega Millions and Powerball - are sporting huge jackpots, topping a billion in total combined winnings. Another $1 Mega Millions ticket was cashed in on October 17 to a man from Dawson Springs.

The Mega Millions jackpot has been accumulating since July 24, when it was won by a California office pool of 11 co-workers who shared the $543 million, making it the largest prize ever won on a single ticket in the game.

No one the jackpot in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, but someone in Kentucky did win $1 million. Powerball tickets are $2 and have to be purchased by 9:45 p.m. ET in most states.

The all-time largest lottery win was on January 13, 2016, when three tickets shared $1.586 billion in a Powerball drawing, CNBC reported. Almost all winners opt for cash, but the annuity has advantages, as it reduces the tax bill a little and offers a stable flow of income that climbs by 5 percent annually, AP noted.
