Ariana Grande Was ‘Helpful and Effective’ in Mac Miller’s Sobriety

Ariana Grande had to turn off her Instagram comments after trolls blamed her for ex-boyfriend Mac Miller's death, but one of the rapper's close friends insists she was integral in keeping Miller sober and healthy. He said Grande was "incredible" in her support while he tried to get sober, calling him and asking what she could do to help him in the process. According to Powers, Grande had a positive influence on Miller when they were dating. She was a f-ing G to him. There could not have been anybody more supportive of him being sober than Ariana.

He added: "Every time someone close to me passes away I always text their phone and, I don't know why I do this often, I just wrote 'I love you man, ' and I knew he wasn't going to write back but I just felt like I had to do it anyway".

All of Mac Miller's hard work of crafting his sound and music over the years has paid off impeccably.

"Whether he's an addict or not, the way that Mac partied was not healthy", Powers continued. When the two became engaged in June after just a few weeks of dating, many slammed Grande, with some even blaming her for Miller's DUI and, eventually, his death.

The 26-year-old Pittsburgh native was found dead in his Los Angeles home last week.

Los Angeles County coroner's spokeswoman Sarah Ardalani told "The autopsy was completed and a cause of death has been deferred pending additional tests".
