Aaron Rodgers calls his injury a ‘sprained knee’

Packers taking it day by day with Aaron Rodgers

"I mean every practice is important", receiver Davante Adams said. That could be his regimen for the rest of the week, but it shouldn't impact his chances of playing this coming Sunday.

He made his National Football League debut for eight snaps in Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers, and he wants more on Monday against the Seattle Seahawks. The 14-year veteran said he does not need to practice to play.

For now, it appears that Rodgers is doing everything he can to make sure he'll be able to play, but again, he's not willing to promise that he'll be out there against Minnesota. After all, Rodgers returned from injury on Sunday after being taken to the locker room on the front seat of a cart.

Vikings safety Harrison Smith, fresh off an NFC North Player of the Week award, knows just how hard it is going up against Rodgers. "See how it feels tomorrow and see how it feels Friday, Saturday and then hopefully ready to go Sunday".

"Haven't even thought about that", Rodgers said when asked if he had confidence in Kizer if the backup needed to start.

Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer is preparing to face Aaron Rodgers.

Week 1 of the new football season is in the books and with all those games out of the way, we can see how the teams all stack up now in our 2018 NFL Power Rankings. "We'll give him the whole week to get ready".

The belief is that Rodgers' mobility could be limited for as long as a month. Although the quarterback didn't participate in practice, Rodgers did take some time to answer questions about his left knee injury, which he characterized as a sprain.
