Elon Musk Responds To Azealia Banks' Claims Of Ghosting, Tweeting, And LSD

Azealia Banks won't leave Elon Musk's house until she gets studio time with Grimes

Azealia Banks waited for Grimes at Elon Musk's house for several days, but it looks like she never showed up.

"Literally been sitting at Elon Musks waiting for Grimes to show up and start these sessions", she wrote. But rather than cut her losses and simply fly back to NY in silence, Banks went on a separate Insta-rant that began as a delirious critique of colonial wealth and racial privilege, became a vaguely eugenicist denigration of Musk as a caveman, and ended, ultimately, on a few lines that will probably appear on her album in lieu of Grimes. Then I go to LA to finish Grimes.

Grimes either has a bad sense of time-management or isn't really feeling her collaboration with banks. While Gizmodo also received a statement from Musk that said he "has never even met (Azealia) or communicated with her in any way".

In the aftermath, she made several explosive claims, one that seems to have caught a lot of attention is the fact she said the Tesla chairman had been tweeting on acid.

Over the course of the weekend, Banks claimed, the couple essentially went into hiding as Musk sought funding after tweeting about plans to take Tesla private last week. "They're so pitiful. And it's honestly stupid of them to think another per formative "angry/crazy black girl hit piece" will do anything to bring me down".

The controversial rapper Musk was freaking out about having claimed in a tweet last week that he'd already secured funding to take Tesla private.

She accused Musk of being distracted after his decision to take Tesla private.

Azealia stopped working on her album Fantasea II: The Second Wave in July and explained she did so to take time to relax but her public reveal of working on a collaboration with Grimes is definitely a hint that she's once again beginning to dive into new musical opportunities.

Banks further elaborated on her experience in an interview with Business Insider, which was able to confirm Banks' presence "at one of Musk's properties this weekend" via an independent secondary source.

Slamming Musk's efficiency as a business man, Banks said, "I could run Tesla better than he does". She also wondered whether Grimes didn't want to collaborate at all, speculating that the trip was "probably some weird threesome sex shit to begin with". "He was stressed and red in the face".
