The gunman returned to the auto and drove off with Tekashi still inside.
The gunmen then drove away with Tekashi still in the back seat. At some point, 6ix9ine was able to open the door and jump out of the vehicle. One of the gunmen started to chase him but stopped because he was afraid he would later be recognized. A stranger called 911 and he was taken to the hospital.
Authorities say he stated he had been the passenger in a auto that was bumped by another vehicle around 4:30 a.m.in Brooklyn and the two men got out and forced him into their auto.
He was reportedly transported to a hospital by ambulance where it has been claimed he's received various tests, including a CT scan.
