Queen pays tribute to mark 100 years of Britain's Royal Air Force

Prince Louis of Cambridge was born

The day after the christening of Prince William and Kate Middleton's third child, Prince Louis, the proud parents, accompanied by Prince Harry and his new wife Meghan Markle, attended the 100th birthday celebrations of the Royal Air Force.

After telling the photographers that they were not coming with the royal family to Prince Louis' christening, she continued to give them a stare-down as she walked away.

What a magnificent (and elegant) way to welcome tiny Prince Louis to the faith and the royal family. I don't know why, don't ask me, but whatever the British royal family does, I gaze upon with great interest.

Meghan's short-sleeved, knee-length dress continued a couple of fashion trends we've seen from her beginning with her Givenchy wedding gown: boat necks and belts.

And Kate chose to wear a coat by Alexander McQueen, a hat by Sean Barrett, and an RAF Dacre Brooch. Both Carole and Pippa look like their wearing light blue, for the event, with Pippa's blossoming baby bump visible through her pleated frock.

Earlier, the royals and more than 2,200 people packed Westminster Abbey for a service also attended by Theresa May, defence secretary Gavin Williamson and Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.

She took the royal salute at the ceremony as the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex watched nearby.

Meghan seems to be getting along quite well with Harry's family. Think about it: have you ever seen Kate Middleton with a hair out of place?

For her second appearance on the balcony, the Duchess of Sussex wore a black custom-made Dior dress, with nude heels and a black clutch also by Dior.

The youngsters stole the show, with Charlotte - who was dressed in a blue dress - sticking her tongue out and waving her arms around.

The flypast drew thousands of spectators, passing over the site of the 2012 Olympic Games, and the streets of Central London before reaching The Mall, the ceremonial avenue leading up to Buckingham Palace.
