Fortnite Season 5 starting on July 12

Fortnite Season 5 starting on July 12

A mysterious portal has appeared at the Moisty Moire in the map and it has spawned an old Stagecoach from the wild west which gives everyone a hint that the theme for the next season could be based on the history.

Shared earlier today through the game's official Twitter account, a mask hovered above the Season 5 text with a starry background.

Now players should have just a handful of days remaining before all of the answers will become clear as Season 4, which has been extended by two days, will officially end on Wednesday, July 11th.

As I've said many times, Epic Games always finds ways to keep people interested in Fortnite.

What can you expect from the Season 5 Battle Pass?

Epic usually releases seven challenges each week that range in difficulty. This wouldn't be too surprising, as Season 3 saw heavy foreshadowing surrounding the meteors that were eventually featured in the 4th Season.

Fortnite: Season 5 will start this Thursday, July 12.

The appearance of unusual portals or rifts all around the map coupled with the disappearance of signs, landmarks, and other places of interest certainly seem to suggest that this will be the biggest change we have ever seen. Nothing is confirmed yet but the rocket launch was undoubtedly the start of something big.

How long will Season 5 last?

This time around, it looks like players will be seeing features from other worlds, as rifts open up and bring items in and out of reality.

More in-game objects from Fortnite: Battle Royale have been spotted in the real world.

The rift in the game is one in both time and space though, and so far the time travel aspect doesn't seem to have affected any of the real world props.
