The President and First Lady Melania Trump landed at London Stansted Airport, northeast of the capital, where they boarded a helicopter to Winfield House. We greatly respect America as a generous place built up by immigrants over the years.
Trump was joining British Prime Minister Theresa May for a black-tie dinner Thursday at Blenheim Palace, Churchill's birthplace near Oxford, at the start of his trip to England.
The visit is seen as crucial at setting the course for a closer trading relationship between the two countries.
Speaking to journalists today after playing golf at the Trump International Golf Links in Balmedie, Mr Trump Jnr said the "foolish proposal was now irrelevant".
He then said that he "at least partially won an election" based on his immigration views, adding that European countries are equally concerned about the issue.
"The UK loves me, in fact my mother was from the UK, they love me there even if they are not treating us well with trades, but they will", he said.
Russia, Brexit and the Middle East are set to top the agenda.
Trump had infamously dubbed the new site as a "lousy location" when he chose to cancel a planned visit for its official opening earlier this year.

The Trumps, as the guests of honour, will interact with leaders of United Kingdom business sectors such as financial services, travel, creative industries, food and drink, engineering, tech, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals and defence.
There are also plans for protestors to gather close to the United States ambassador's residence in Regent's Park, where Trump and his wife, Melania, will stay overnight on Thursday. In London, we speak with Sheila Menon, social justice activist and one of the organizers behind the Trump baby blimp.
Protesters have been encouraged to bring pots, drums and vuvuzelas.
A group of 13 members of the press join the President on such trips, including three wire reporters, two print reporters, four photographers, a three-person television crew, and a radio reporter.
After arriving at Bleneim Palace, Trump was met by the prime minister and her husband, Philip.
"Give us your tired and your oppressed and we'll divide you from your children", he said mockingly of Mr. Trump's policies.
The prime minister will host a gala dinner and a meeting with Trump, giving them time to talk. Trump and the first lady will then have tea with Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle in the afternoon.
Trump will spend the weekend at the former, which he described as a "magical place", before heading to Helsinki, Finland, for a much-anticipated summit on July 16 with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
It is widely believed that such a schedule has been designed for Donald Trump because of the overwhelming protests that are expected to descend on London during his visit.
