Coulter started the movement in October 2016 after the infamous Access Hollywood tape was leaked where Trump could be heard making crass comments about women.

Canadian retain store Hudson's Bay just dropped Ivanka Trump's clothing and accessories line due to "performance".

U.S. President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump, who also serves as a White House assistant to the President, walks through the halls of the Rayburn House Office Building on Capitol Hill in Washington on July 12, 2018.

Hudson's Bay is "phasing out" Ivanka Trump products. "As part of our regular course of business, we review our merchandise offerings and make appropriate changes".

Almost two years ago, the Grab Your Wallet campaign formed and called on consumers to stop shopping at any retailers that carry Trump family-related products.

Last February when the campaign heated up, the Bay said it had no plans to pull the brand from its shelves.

The retailer, which also owns US chains Lord & Taylor and Saks Fifth Avenue, says it made the decision to drop Ivanka's brand last fall due to falling sales.

On Friday, Shannon Coulter, the co-founder of #GrabYourWallet, said the Bay had been removed from the boycott list and joining 39 other companies that have been taken off the list since the campaign was launched.

"When global attention recently settled on the Trump administration for forcibly separating thousands of children from their parents immediately after the Trump administration imposed tariffs on Canada, that really put Hudson's Bay in the hot seat and kept them there for several weeks", said Coulter.

At one point, the retailer had offered more than 350 items under the Ivanka Trump banner, everything from apparel, shoes and jewelry ranging in price from $25 up to nearly $14,000.

HBC did not say whether an ongoing boycott against stores carrying the brand factored into its decision.

Lord & Taylor, however, continues to carry the brand.
