Why Angelina Jolie Could Lose Custody of Her Kids to Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie Could Lose Physical Custody of Kids to Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie has been put on notice by the court that if she doesn't help fix her children's relationship with Brad Pitt, she could lose primary custody.

The court stated that Jolie must allow the kids to have a relationship with their father and if she fails to comply to the new terms she risks losing primary custody.

According to The Blast, which was first to report the new court order, a judge in Jolie and Pitt's divorce case has determined that their six children's lack of "a relationship with their father is harmful to them", and says "it is critical that each of them have a healthy and strong relationship with their father and mother".

A child psychologist has to be present while Brad visits the kids in London - where Angelina is renting a house right now - and has to make arrangements to have them see their doctors while in CA.

Jolie, 43, and Pitt, 54, were ordered to arrange a phone call between them, their children and two psychologists "to explain the summer schedule", the documents state. The court also bars her from reading the children's text messages with Pitt or from giving out a number to a phone that she secretly monitors.

Pitt was cleared of allegations of child abuse by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services in November 2016.

Actress Angelina Jolie hugs Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt (L) and Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt (R) after winning the award for favourite villain in "Maleficent" during Nickelodeon's 28th Annual Kids' Choice Awards in 2015. Pitt will have custody again from August 11 until the next scheduled court hearing on August 13.

The court, however, is letting 16-year-old Maddox essentially decide how much time he wants to spend with Brad because he's older. While in Pitt's care, Jolie is only allowed to call the children one time per day and at a time agreed upon by both parents.

The Fury actor is set to spend time with his kids 8 June to 17 June for four hours per day while he stays in London, where Jolie now rents a house.

From June 27 to July 1, the actor again gets custody of one or two children at a time for ten hours, and the children will be accompanied by a child therapist.

Angelina Jolie brings her six children to The Breadwinner premiere in September 2017. Jolie is responsible for the children traveling to Los Angeles and Pitt for returning them to London.

Following their split, Pitt was investigated by multiple agencies after Jolie alleged that he had a drinking problem and was abusive to their children.
