Republican voters in SC ousted Representative Mark Sanford in the state's GOP primary Tuesday in a contest that turned into a test of loyalty to President Donald Trump. In Tuesday's primary, he lost to state Representative Katie Arrington, who had campaigned against Sanford by branding him a "Never Trumper". But he failed to win the 50 percent necessary to avoid a runoff. She branded Sanford as a "Never Trump" Republican in name only who nearly reflexively disagrees with the president.
