NBA Draft: Should Cleveland Cavaliers trade up to draft Luka Doncic?

Report Clippers want to trade up in draft may be eyeing Luka Doncic

The Clippers could be looking to move up in the 2018 NBA Draft.

Mo Bamba, and Wendell Carter Jr. have picked up plenty of steam over the past two weeks, while Doncic remains in Europe, playing out a best-of-five series against Baskonia, which is it were to go down to Game 5, would extend until June 22, the day after the NBA Draft.

"You could see a lot of pick movement".

That said, the Cavaliers should have an immediate trade lined up in order to draft Doncic, but they need to make sure he falls out of the top three first. The Clippers have looked to trade up. I think a guy that they have really looked at heavily is Luka Doncic of Real Madrid.

Doncic is likely the most polished product out of the bunch, having played professional basketball for years now, facing stiffer and more mature competition than any of these college standouts have during their time in the NCAA.

With this pick, Sacramento now has the chance to add a franchise-leading talent to its young core, which would presumably be whoever the Suns don't take between Deandre Ayton out of Arizona and Luka Doncic from Slovenia. It's tough to determine which player would be included in the deal, but the favorite would likely have to be Tobias Harris.

"Getting a pair of lottery picks and two more intriguing youngsters fits the mentality of this rebuilding organization, particularly because it wouldn't be giving up any of the youngsters in this scenario". It has made calls to multiple teams with a top-10 pick to inquire about a potential trade, according to a report from The Athletic. Harris is about to enter the final year of his contract and will earn just short of $15 million next season.
