The rapper - real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy - is said to have returned to his vehicle after leaving a motorcycle dealership when a gunman shot him multiple times in Broward County, Florida, according to TMZ. The area is located roughly 43 miles outside of Miami. "According to the dispatch call the suspects were described as 2 black males wearing hoodies, and the shooter was wearing a red mask".
The Broward Co. Fire Dept. tells us XXX has been rushed to a hospital.
The sheriff's office later confirmed that the man who was taken to the hospital had been pronounced dead.
Investigators said at least one of the suspects shot him before they both fled the scene in a dark-coloured SUV.
