If these teams are content with their point guard depth and talent, maybe they look to trade out of the top five and acquire an additional asset (s) from a team looking to move up and select Doncic. If so, this is the trade package I would explore if I am the Clippers. It's tough to determine which player would be included in the deal, but the favorite would likely have to be Tobias Harris.
This gives the Grizzlies two solid players to throw into the fray next season without any long-term commitments. They could use both first round picks, but the idea of Doncic playing at the Staples Center is tantalizing.
