E3 2018: Sony Reveals Control, Alan Wake Dev's New Game

Remedy’s Control Looks A Whole Lot Like Quantum Break Brodie Gibbons

Remedy Entertainment's next project is officially called "Control", Sony revealed Monday night during its E3 2018 press conference. Remedy, seemingly borrowing very heavily from the aesthetic of Quantum Break, the Control trailer featured a lead female protagonist using psychic abilities to throw things around the room and, y'know, being in control.

"Control's" plot focuses on a young woman named Jesse Faden and her search for answers after she takes on the role of the Director, according to the game's official website. The game is billed as a "sandbox-style, gameplay-driven experience" and is built on their proprietary Northlight engine.

Game director Mikael Kasurinen had the following to say about Control.

Control is the latest game from the creators of Alan Wake and Max Payne - and it looks to be continuing the studio's tradition of bad-ass shooting with extra powers on top. It shows off our unique ability to build compelling worlds while providing a new player-driven way to experience them.

Control will head to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
